Tool – Shop Department
The injection moulds are manufactured with the help of the latest technologies. The machining of mould parts is carried out on CNC machines by using the most effective methods. Thanks to our long-term knowledge in the field of electro - erosion technology, we are able to optimize the production time as well as the quality of eroded shapes.
The moulds are assembled by experienced toolmakers with the help of efficient handling devices including a scraping press. The production of highly-polished surfaces is ensured by skilled and trained tool makers.
Our production portfolio includes the following types of moulds:
- Low-volume moulds (short-term projects with low batch production up to 200 000 strokes)
- Series production moulds (high amount of pieces, long-term production, 1 million strokes)
- Multi - component moulds
- Manufacture of parts and moulds according to the provided documentation
Maximum mould dimension 1100x700 - 600 mm, maximum mould weight 5 tons.
TECHNOLOGY
- CAD / CAM preparation for the machining of shaped parts with the support of Powermill and Rhinoceros software
- Preparation of technological procedures and cooperation with the design department regarding an efficient production process (functionality and customer requirements)
- Visualization of all manufactured parts in the production department, accurate data concerning the final dimensions, positions of the electrodes, etc.
CNC MACHINING
- Machining of fully hardened materials by using high-tech tools
- Machining of very complicated and complex shapes by using latest cutting tools with the diameter of 0.3 mm
- Use of special jigs and clamping systems for complex moulds
- Knowledge of HSC machining technology - use of adequate tools to manufacture moulds for optical parts
EDM MACHINING
- Extensive experience in the field of graphite technology
- Vast experience in the field of graphite properties and its optimal use
- Manufacture of precise custom - made electrodes
- Moulded piece surface treatment with the attention to the economy of the EDM process
POLISHING
- We create mirror - like finishes on complex geometries
- Our skilled toolmakers are trained for this specific area
- Adequate equipment and a separate workplace to carry out this kind of polishing
- Optimal polishing procedures developed by our employees ensuring high-quality and efficient polishing process dedicated to the final shaping
ASSEMBLY
- Scraping works are carried out by our experienced staff on the scraping machine Millutensil
- Leak and functionality testing of the cooling circuits is performed with the help of a special device
- Specialised teams of workers who, if necessary, work 24 hours a day in order to complete the assembly of a mould within the required time limit
