Based on the introduction of the quality management system according to ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 (for the operation of the injection moulding department), the management of the company KOH-I-NOOR FORMEX s.r.o. strictly follows the below mentioned principles:
- Continuous efficiency improvement of all management quality processes and timely introduction of preventive measures
- Observe and perform statutory instruments and regulations relating to production, production processes and activities as well as statutory instruments approved by our customers
- Regular review of economic results, including the quality costs, and a systematic search for possibilities leading to further improvement
- Regular updating of the management quality system documentation
- Control and evaluation of the professional qualification of our suppliers as well as the formation of a clear and open communication and mutually beneficial relationship with our suppliers

- Support of QMS processes and their systematic measurement, monitoring and analysis with the aim to achieve planned results and continual improvement

Quality Control Department
Our air-conditioned quality control department is equipped with standard measurement devices and with:
- Wenzel LH87 - 3D Coordinate Measuring Machine
- Comet L3D 2M - 3D Optical scanner
- Micro-Vu Excel 502 HM - Multisensor Measuring Center
Moulded Parts Measurement:
- Mould components
- Plastic mouldings
Measurement Types:
- 3D measuring device and evaluation of shape deviations
- Surface and space elements measuring and evaluation
Moulding Storage:
- The moulded and measured samples are registered, meticulously labelled and carefully stored
Metrology:
- Acquisition, registration and regular inspection of all gauges
- Calibration and fixing
- Record keeping – conditions of the measuring devices
The measuring devices are thoroughly tested and calibrated every year. The processed measuring protocols correspond to the requirements of the VDA and PPAP standards. The evaluation of process capability (statistical process control – SPC, measurement system analysis – MSA, machine capability- Cm, Cmk, Cp, Cpk, Pp, Ppk and other methods) is carried out within the pre-serial and serial production process.
KOH-I-NOOR FORMEX s.r.o. follows these standards:
- ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (for operation of the tool – shop department)
- IATF 16949: 2016 (for the operation of the injection moulding department)
The quality management system is reviewed on a regular basis:
- Internal audits (process and system)
- Product audits
- Supervisory audit conducted by the auditing and certification services company DEKRA
- Customer audits carried out by Automotive Lighting, Koito, Magna Belplas, Magna Graz, Magna Slovteca, to name a few.
